Palm Springs Canyons

Tahquitz Canyon was closed from 1969 until 2001. It was first inhabited by hippies, then became home to vagrants. When the Agua Caliente Indians opened a casino in Palm Springs they had enough money to clean out and reopen the canyon.

The canyons are located close to the center of Palm Springs and are a true oasis.

There are four canyons, Tahquitz, Andreas, Palm and Murray.
