Eastern Europe

It has been less than 20 years since Eastern Europe came out from Communism. It was very interesting talking to the people who had lived through that era. They were afraid to say anything against the government as they could be taken away by the Secret Police and didn't know who to trust.
We stayed in Bucharest, Romania then traveled to Transylvania and visited Dracula's Castle. Actual name Bran Castle. We passed a small caravan of gypsies on the way to Caldarusani Monastery.

House of Parliament., Worlds 2nd largest building (The largest is the Pentagon) This is known as Ceausecu's greatest folly, begun in 1984, initially took 20,000 workers, 700 architects and billions of Lei to build. When the dictator died, only the exterior and three rooms had been finished. Work continues on it to this day.
